1000 Books Reading Challenge

Turn reading into a family tradition! The 1000 Books Reading Challenge invites families to read together and build a lifelong love of books, one story at a time. Every book counts, from bedtime favorites to audiobooks on the go. Track your progress, celebrate milestones, and make reading part of your everyday routine. Start where you are, read what you love, and enjoy the journey together.

Each family who completes the challenge will be honored with a book placed on the Newbern City Library shelves in their name, creating a lasting part of our collection.
